Project Overview:
We are looking to enhance our WordPress-based multi-vendor system, which utilizes Dokan Lite, Dokan Pro, Elementor, WooCommerce, and WordPress. The goal is to add specific environmental and financial metrics to the vendor and customer dashboards. These metrics will include CO2 emissions saved, pounds (lbs) of food saved, and a bar chart displaying dollar value, CO2 emissions, and lbs of food.
Tasks:
Dashboard Enhancements:
CO2 and Food Saved Display:
Add two new metrics to the dashboard in the bottom left blank space:
CO2 Saved (in pounds): This should be calculated using our formula, where 'weight' is a custom field parameter already present in the system.
Food Saved (in pounds): This will simply display the value from the custom 'weight' parameter.
These values should be displayed prominently in a user-friendly format.
Statistics Section:
Bar Chart Integration:
Add a bar chart to the statistics section of the dashboard that visually represents:
Dollar Value of sales.
CO2 Emissions Saved (calculated as mentioned above).
Pounds (lbs) of Food Saved.
Ensure the chart is visually appealing and easy to interpret.
Weight and CO2 Calculations:
Weight Tracking:
Implement functionality to track the total weight of food sold by vendors and purchased by customers. This should pull data from the existing custom 'weight' field.
CO2 Emissions Tracking:
Calculate the CO2 emissions saved based on the total weight using the formula.
These metrics should be displayed on the front end for both vendors and customers, reflecting their individual contributions.
Requirements:
Ensure that all new features are fully integrated with the existing Dokan Lite, Dokan Pro, Elementor, WooCommerce, and WordPress setup.
Maintain the existing styling and theme consistency.
The final implementation should be responsive and optimized for various screen sizes.
