Student Counselor (IG Education Services)
2. Objective:
The primary goal of this role is to provide expert guidance to students seeking to pursue education abroad. The counselor will assist students with the application process, visa procedures, selection of suitable institutions, and support them in adjusting to life in a foreign country.
3. Key Responsibilities:
Study Abroad Guidance: Advise students on various study abroad programs, including options for universities, colleges, and academic institutions across different countries.
Application Process: Assist with preparing and submitting applications to foreign institutions, ensuring students meet all requirements (e.g., transcripts, essays, recommendation letters, etc.).
Visa and Immigration Support: Guide students through the visa application process, including documentation, interview preparation, and understanding immigration rules.
Financial Planning: Advise students on scholarship opportunities, budgeting, and understanding financial aspects of studying abroad (tuition fees, cost of living, etc.).
Pre-Departure Preparation: Provide support with travel arrangements, accommodation options, cultural adjustment, and orientation to help students settle in their new academic environment.
Ongoing Support: Offer continued support during the student's time abroad, helping them navigate challenges and maintaining regular communication with students to ensure their well-being.
Workshops and Seminars: Organize informational sessions, workshops, and webinars to educate students about studying abroad, scholarships, and different cultures.
