Job Description:
We are urgently seeking an experienced developer to assist with migrating our server on DigitalOcean. We encountered an issue with our current droplet after a recent maintenance update from DigitalOcean, and despite multiple attempts to resolve it, the droplet remains non-functional.
Our current plan is to migrate our droplet to a new server within DigitalOcean to restore full functionality.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with DigitalOcean, especially with managing and migrating droplets.
Strong knowledge of server migrations, configurations, and troubleshooting within cloud environments.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage the entire migration process.
Familiarity with diagnosing server issues after updates or maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose the current issue on the droplet and confirm migration requirements.
Efficiently migrate all relevant data, applications, and configurations to a new droplet/server.
Ensure the new server is fully operational and addresses the issue with minimal downtime.
Communicate effectively with our team on progress and any issues encountered during migration.
Timeline: This is an urgent requirement, and we need someone who can start immediately and complete the migration as quickly as possible.
