Fair use of Section 140 of the Criminal Code of Canada

I was falsely accused of a crime, arrested, tried, and acquitted. Because of the weakness of the evidence used against me, I believe this is a wrongful arrest and prosecution case, and I need funds to sue the police and prosecutors. Under Section 140 of the Criminal Code of Canada, it is a crime to falsely accuse someone of a crime, especially if the accusation results in an investigation and arrest. Based on the disclosure and particular, as well as the court transcripts, I believe there is evidence of the fraud present that the police and prosecution ignored. There is no evidence that the police used any Duty of Care, or due diligence, in verifying the veracity of the complaint. At this point, I am discussing options with a lawyer, but it may cost $100,000 or more for a civil suit. I hope to get crowdfunding to pay for fees, but I have no experience with crowdfunding. At this point, I need to help understand my best crowdfunding options. Additionally, as details of the criminal case are quite sensitive and possibly sensational, I need to understand any risks I might have in bringing public attention to it. In the broader picture, fraud is a serious problem in society, particularly fraudulent reporting of crimes such as 'swatting' where people call 911 under pretenses in hopes of causing other people harm. This is usually a racially motivated crime. While my case is not swatting, it is similar in that a false criminal complaint was filed with the goal of harming me. What is particularly unsettling is the indifference the police have to false reporting of crimes. Ultimately, it cost me over $100,000 in legal fees, travel, accommodation, counselling, etc. It took 21 months, from arrest to acquittal, and caused serious trauma in my life. For fraudsters to so easily cause so much harm in someone else's life with so little risk or expense, only invites further such fraud.
