I'm seeking a graphic designer to refresh and modernize the logo for the Columbus Emerging Leaders' Summit. The current design incorporates the Columbus, OH skyline with a thumbprint as the icon, and various shades of orange for the summit's name. The current image is attached.

Key Tasks:
- Redesign both the skyline and thumbprint elements to look cleaner and more professional
- Update the font to a bold, modern style
- Create a more circular or stacked logo as opposed to the existing horizontal design
- Ensure the logo is bold and clear for various uses such as website imagery, event banners, and event programs.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong graphic design skills, with a focus on logo design
- Experience with modernizing existing logos
- Ability to work within established color palettes and design themes
- Excellent understanding of typography, particularly bold, modern fonts
- Capacity for creating designs that are suitable for different formats and uses.

It's crucial that the new design does not deviate too much from the existing look and feel and color palette. The thumbprint should be the primary focus of the redesign, with both elements of the logo being given equal importance.
