You become a customer of both Virgin Media and O2 which gets you access to exclusive Volt benefits, at no extra cost, as well as supercharged services and lightning-fast speeds.
- If you’re new to Virgin Media and O2, you can take advantage by choosing from our broadband and SIM deals.
- If you’re already with us (Virgin Media), you can add an O2 Pay Monthly phone, tablet or SIM to unlock your Volt benefits.
- If you already have an O2 Pay Monthly plan, you can get superfast Virgin Media broadband to be eligible for Volt benefits.
- If you’re already with Virgin Media and O2, you can sign in to your My O2 account to check your eligibility for Volt and activate your benefits.
Broadband speed
We’ve boosted all our broadband and SIM deals to give you the next fastest available speed (up to a max of 1Gbps). How fast you need to go can vary based on the number of devices using your home broadband at the same time and how data-heavy your online activities are. Learning a little about our upload and download speeds will help you decide our best deal for you.
Reliability
You want speeds and mobile signal you can rely on. Our network reliability is 99.85% and Intelligent WiFi technology is included as standard to help improve coverage around your home. For no extra cost, our broadband and SIM deals are backed up by our WiFi guarantee with WiFi Max and you’ll be provided with up to three WiFi Pods to bolster connectivity, if needed – just one of Volt’s many benefits. Meanwhile, it’s easy to enter your postcode and check O2’s network coverage in your area.
Allowances
We’re offering unlimited broadband. This should easily meet your usage needs for streaming, gaming, working from home, with no low data cap to get in your way. You also want to choose broadband and SIM only deals based on your mobile usage needs. Check the allowance of data, minutes and texts, and see if you can roll your unused data month to month – on O2 you can!
Roaming charges
Like to travel? O2 is the only major network that won’t charge anyone extra for EU roaming up to 25GB. You can roam at no extra cost in 75 destinations worldwide, including the EU, the USA, Australia and Mexico, with all our SIM and broadband deals.
Installation and setup
All our broadband and SIM deals have £0 setup included and our kit as well. Installation is easy and straight forward, our WiFi Hub can just plug in. Just make sure to check for any potential one-off charges such as for postage and service activation while you’re comparing the monthly cost of SIM and broadband deals.

You can by having an eligible Virgin Media broadband package and an eligible Pay Monthly plan from O2 in your household. If you’re currently on an O2 Pay Monthly SIM and the My O2 app says you’re eligible, you can get exclusive Volt benefits simply by taking any of the Volt deals above.

- Double the O2 mobile data for every eligible plan in your household
When you become the account holder for a Volt deal, O2 will double the mobile data for every eligible Pay Monthly plan that’s registered in your name, at the same address. Or if you take a SIM with 250GB or more, as part of a Volt package deal, O2 will make the allowances Unlimited.

The legal stuff

No setup fee
This promotion means you won’t pay the usual setup fee of £35. No setup fee is available on all bundles, broadband & phone, and broadband only packages. If you can set up using a Self-Install pack, but choose to use an engineer for the installation, you’ll still be charged £30 for this service.
