In order to access China market, the great majority of audio/video, information technology and telecommunication equipment need to achieve the China Compulsory Certification (CCC).
On Aug 1, 2022, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA) announced the Circular 11 about the standard upgrade of two new national standards for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) –GB/T 9254.1-2021 and safety GB 4943.1-2022 for information technology, audio/video and telecommunication equipment.
There will be a transition period for existing CCC certifications. Manufacturers whose CCC certificates are still based on the old standard must adapt their certificates to the new one.
