For those starting out, we have a dedicated three-year apprenticeship programme for school-leavers and a 12-month Graduate Programme for recent university graduates. Graduate Programme

Through our programme designed for university graduates, we offer a permanent contract starting with a 12-month rotation plan across various teams, giving you the opportunity to discover and familiarise yourself with the Bank and its activities.

Our job offers

Apprenticeships 

If you’re about to finish secondary school or you completed it recently with excellent results, and if you are interested in economics, finance and banking and would like to start an apprenticeship, then look no further. We look forward to receiving your application and supporting your career plans.

Apprentices work in several of UBP’s departments, which gives them a valuable overview of the banking sector and enables them to learn a variety of skills that will serve them throughout their careers.

An apprenticeship leading to a Federal Certificate of Proficiency in Commercial Business – Banking Sector, with or without a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, starts in August and lasts for three years. It comprises the three following elements:

  • You divide your time between: Professional business school, CYP and UBP

  • It includes 10 internships with various teams

  • You get support and supervision from experienced professional trainers to acquire professional skills and experience

  • You obtain a Federal Certificate of Proficiency in Commercial Business – Banking Sector, with or without a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate

A company’s success relies on its employees’ skills. We will give you the tools, knowledge, and training to succeed in the banking world and beyond. UBP has a strong record of support to apprentices during their training and they have a high exam success rate.

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Covering letter
  • Your three most recent secondary school reports (or equivalent)
  • A job or work experience certificate/confirmation
  • Photocopies of your qualifications
  • Results of any tests taken (e.g. Multicheck)

UBP signs two exclusive agreements to acquire Societe Generale’s international private banking operations in the UK and in Switzerland

Union Bancaire Privée, UBP SA (UBP) and Societe Generale announced today that they have entered into two exclusive agreements whereby UBP will acquire Societe Generale’s Swiss private banking activities (Societe Generale Private Banking Suisse) as well as their UK and Channel Islands wealth management arm (SG Kleinwort Hambros). Both transactions are expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
