WORK EXPERIENCE Crown Agents Port of Manila, Manila Philippines December 2009 up to present Inventory Specialist ( November 2009 – June 2010 ) The National Single Window is a solution for trade facilitation that delivers immediate benefits to all parties involved as it inter-connects government agencies involved in the processing of import and export shipments. The purpose of this posting is to provide government agencies covered and nominated for the National Single Window Project by equipments that will be used by the agency to their daily transactions with their clients. POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY • Inventory Count - The number of items in a company's product line that are available for sale or shipping to customers begins with a constant monitoring of the inventory count. An inventory specialist will be in charge of all aspects of this count. This includes tracking and reporting incoming and outgoing product shipments, distribution of the products during storage and order filling that depletes the stock. The method of monitoring stock usage is the inventory count, which will be done in cycles throughout the company's fiscal year. • Accounting and Reporting - The amount of inventory on hand at any given time will be reflected in surplus stock counts, shipping and receiving data and product return numbers, if any. Inventory cycle count data can be used to update all of these numbers, which can then be included in reconciliation reports that can be shared with other departments. These reports are valuable when adjusting product replenishment orders and projected sales needs, which will be part of interfacing with the product line managers, buyers and those involved with improving the overall distribution process. • Multi-Tasking Responsibilities - The inventory specialist may be required to perform other duties relevant to the employer's product line or, in some cases, their staffing limitations. Multi-tasking is generally part of the job, and the inventory specialist may deal with other aspects of product distribution. Examples of this will be assisting product line functions by providing production supplies, analyzing pricing trends on company products and reviewing purchasing and billing data. • Supervisory Duties - The inventory specialist will be expected to have supervisory skills. This often includes oversight of the functions within the distribution process, such as improving production line methods and training staff in general inventory processes. The use of computerized inventory systems will also require an inventory specialist to be familiar with and adept at managing data systems and monitoring staff performance relevant to entry of product data in the computer system. Implementation Support and Help Desk Operator – Philippines National Single Window ( June 2010 – May 2013 ) The National Single Window is a solution for trade facilitation that delivers immediate benefits to all parties involved as it inter-connects government agencies involved in the processing of import and export shipments. The purpose of this posting is to provide system implementation and Help Desk support for the Philippines NSW Project. The system users are the stakeholders of the project such as regulatory government agencies, accrediting and monitoring government agencies, traders together with other senior government personnel from agencies and departments. The assignment is in conjunction with the Crown Agents Project Team of change managers, trainers, support & implementation teams, business, technical analysts and quality assurance staff together with the team’s project management. The main activities include:- POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY • Providing first level client support to resolve all reported system-related exceptions: o takes telephone calls regarding technical problems with the system and/or hardware configurations o paramount objective is always is to reach a solution during the call so that the caller can immediately regain full use of the system o ensures that email help inquiries are responded to immediately • Identify and coordinate as necessary with appropriate support organizations for resolute on of reported exceptions to meet service level agreements • Update the Help Desk tracking system and produce analysis • Conducting system roll-out, implementation ensuring quality of service at all times • Produce and update site installation reports and perform monthly maintenance tasks for agency sites Change Management Support ( May 2013 – Present ) The National Single Window is a solution for trade facilitation that delivers immediate benefits to all parties involved as it inter-connects government agencies involved in the processing of import and export shipments. The purpose of this posting is to ensure projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be supporting the Change Manager creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Management Support will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. Quality Assurance Specialist ( Dec 2013 – Present ) Primary Responsiblitities - The QA will be responsible for checking Website / Web Template URLs and Web Page coding for accuracy, completeness and adherence design. - Ability to manage an efficient process with high quality results for partner groups. - wor with internal teams to improve workflows.
