We are seeking an international tax expert with experience in Colombian tax law and double taxation treaties. The project’s goal is to identify legal strategies to minimize withholding taxes on international payments (ideally to 0%) and develop a clear guide for our clients to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Deliverables:
1. Detailed analysis of our international operations and the tax classification of our services (SaaS, royalties, technical services, etc.).
2. Identification of applicable legal foundations, international treaties, and local laws to minimize or eliminate withholding rates.
3. Step-by-step guide for our clients to properly apply exemptions or reductions in withholding taxes, including specific documentation requirements.
We are looking for a professional solution fully compliant with regulations. Previous experience with SaaS companies and expertise in tax treaties between Colombia and other countries (Mexico or Canada) will be highly valued.
