**1. Scope of Work**
The Vendor shall perform the following tasks as part of the project:
**1.1 Mechanical Calculations**
Utilize COMPRESS or PV Elite for mechanical calculations. The Vendor must specify the chosen software in their technical proposal.
**1.2 Supplementary Calculations**
Conduct additional calculations necessary for transportation and lifting. This includes assessing skirt base ring stiffness during rigging. The Vendor may use proprietary spreadsheets based on Roark’s formulas (Table 9.2, Pressure Vessel Design Manual Chapter 10, Procedure 10-5) or perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) if deemed necessary.
**1.3 General Arrangement Drawings**
Provide General Arrangement (GA) drawings in accordance with the ZHI Drawing Template.
**1.4 Fabrication Details Drawings**
Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for all external and internal attachments, including but not limited to nozzles, supports, lifting lugs, pipe supports, ladder and platform supports, insulation and fireproofing supports, site templates, and gauge plate drawings.
**1.5 Welding Details Updates**
ZHI reserves the right to request modifications to welding details at any point. The Vendor shall update the affected drawings promptly upon request.
**1.6 Bill of Materials (BOM)**
Submit a BOM in Excel format for each drawing sheet with any revisions to the BOM table. This can be exported automatically using AutoCAD Tables or Attribute Blocks. BOM Tables must include Start-Up Spare Parts as specified in the project requirements.
**1.7 Datasheet Completion**
Complete the datasheets based on the detailed design calculations provided by ZHI, which will include a native file for reference.
**1.8 Comments Resolution Sheets (CRS)**
Fill out the Comments Resolution Sheets with detailed responses to customer comments. The format for the CRS will be provided along with the initial comments.
**1.9 Compliance**
Ensure all submissions are fully compliant with the data sheets, design codes, material requisitions, and project specifications.
**1.10 Unit Specifications**
Design calculations must be expressed in metric units. All drawings shall use dual units, with SI units as the primary measurement and imperial units provided in brackets (mm [in]).

**2. Additional Requirements**
**2.1 Engineer Qualifications**
The Vendor shall provide CVs for all engineers involved in the calculations, demonstrating experience per ASME BPVC.VIII.1 Appendix 47 or ASME BPVC.VIII.2 Part 2. CVs must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase order placement. Individuals without engineering degrees are prohibited from engaging in design activities related to this purchase requisition.
**2.2 Submission of Native Files**
All native files for calculations and drawings must be submitted with each revision.
**2.3 Meeting Attendance**
The Vendor shall participate in meetings with ZHI Engineering or Project Management, adhering to the following schedule:
- **Kick-Off Meeting (KOM):** Within 2 days of PO placement to review applicable datasheets and project specifications.
- **Design Review Meetings:** Following the first submission if major comments arise that prevent submission to the ZHI Customer.
- **Pre-Revision Meetings:** Prior to submitting the first drawing revision to ensure all customer comments are understood and addressed.
- **Bi-Weekly Follow-Up Meetings.**
Meetings will be conducted during ZHI working hours (08:30 am to 04:30 pm GMT +3:00) and primarily in English, with Arabic and Hindi as acceptable secondary languages.
**2.4 Document Submission Timeline**
- **Mechanical Design Calculations, GA Drawings, and Completed Datasheets:** 15 calendar days from PO placement; however, the first vessel of each type (Vertical & Horizontal) must be submitted within 7 calendar days.
- **Fabrication Details Drawings:** Along with the first revision of commented GA drawings.
- **Complete Mechanical Calculations:** Including all supplementary calculations with the first revision of commented Mechanical Calculations.
- **Site Template & Gauge Plates:** With the first revision of commented GA drawings, or as requested by the ZHI Project Manager.
- **Return of Commented Documents:** Within 12 calendar days.

**3. Optional Scope of Work**
The following optional activities may be quoted separately as unit rates. ZHI reserves the right to activate or cancel any of these options, and the Vendor shall not refuse any of the optional scope items.
**3.1 Nozzle Load Transfer**
Transfer nozzle loads to vessel support and foundation. This option is available in PV Elite but not in COMPRESS.
**3.2 FEA for Nozzles**
Provide a unit rate for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for nozzles, if requested. The Vendor must specify any additional software used, such as Nozzle Pro or Ansys.
**3.3 Additional Drawings**
Provide unit rates for the following drawings:
- Ladder & Platform General Arrangement Drawings per vessel.
- Ladder & Platform Detail Drawings per platform.
**3.4 Default Requirements**
The original requirements of the scope will apply to any additional items within the optional scope.
