online markeitng needed for a niche retailer and trade business

Site has poor traffic and very poor traffic to sales conversions. This project is to market the website online using traditional and advanced SEO methods. Site sells worldwide, but is UK based so most marketing emphasis to be on the UK please. I have revised this project because the title I gave was online marketing proposal and I think some of the bidders thought this was a project to write a proposal, no, the project is to do the online marketing - but to present your ideas to the client I need to see your ideas. The site has meta tags, seo, google base, so I am not sure wheer you want to put the empphasis, inmprioving these or link building, or articles, or something else?
