PHP and JS coding on various existing projects

I have several PHP projects for which I need a programmer. I would like to find someone with the following skills: --at least a few years of serious PHP programming --Ajax/Javascript understanding and experience --mySQL basic understanding --ability to understand complex project requirements and willing to stick with a project for the long term Most importantly, I would like to have a dedicated coder that can work 4 to 6 hours each day, or between 20 and 40 hours per week, on a scheduled basis so I know when they are working. I need to have them work during times overlapping my time zone. I am in California, USA (Pacific time zone) and available between the hours of 7AM and 4PM daily in this time zone. The person needs to be able to understand English fairly well and be able to communicate well. Some of the codes I need help with have been worked on by many other programmers over a period of several years and so some are coded in mixed styles, not all done well. I would like help in getting some of the codes in better shape and using more "modern" methods. Some issues to be addressed include: --JS code that is not working well in Internet Explorer but working well in FireFox --some database queries that are not as efficient as they need to be --some messy code that needs to be rewritten completely --a code that is working very well and is well written but is lacking any technical documentation, and needs to be documented internally so that it is easy to make updates and upgrades I am setting the rate of pay as $15 per hour, but I am very flexible. I will be doing a lot of direction and know how long things should normally take, so if the programmer is good and fast then I can pay more per hour, but if slow I would pay less. I have paid up to $125 per hour for the best programmers but have also had programmers not worth $8 per hour (and I won't keep a slow programmer for long, as it isn't worth my time.) Please respond if you have a person or persons that would be helpful for my needs.
