I'm in need of a skilled engineer to help design an electronic device that can relay key information from a distance to a car's door handle, enabling it to unlock and start the car. Key features of the project: - Two devices are required: the first device will grab key information from a distance, while the second will relay this information to the car. - The completed project should include: - One test device - Firmware - PCB drawings - Manufacturing files - Gerber files - A generic or off the shelf plastic housing for the device - Any other necessary files to complete the device - A simple programming method for the device with the firmware once we proceed with manufacturing, such as USB. - Detailed schematics of the electronic circuits used in the device. - A comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) listing all components. - Compliance documentation showing adherence to regulatory standards. - Detailed assembly instructions for putting together the device. - A user manual detailing the operation and troubleshooting of the device. - Source code for the firmware to allow for future modifications. - A power management plan to ensure efficient battery usage. - Documentation for the wireless communication protocol used between the devices. - Complete testing procedures and criteria to ensure device functionality. This project is critical for my final assessment for my Computer Security and Investigations degree. The key types that the device should support include: LF125khz, FBS4, All systems, and Smartkey. Please review the attached PDF file containing the user guide to a similar device currently on the market. Ideal skills for this job include: - Electronic engineering - Firmware development - PCB design - Knowledge of car key systems - Experience with device housing Please note, the second and third questions regarding key types were skipped, therefore, the device should primarily be compatible with the first key types mentioned. The device should operate within a medium range of 10-50 meters. The device should include basic encryption to protect the key information.
