Position Type: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM PST)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Shopify platform, including experience with Shopify Liquid, and basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for basic image editing tasks. You will be responsible for building and maintaining Shopify websites, implementing new features, and optimizing the user experience. The position requires an individual who is passionate about web development and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deploy custom Shopify themes using Liquid.
Customize and enhance existing Shopify themes to meet project requirements.
Integrate third-party apps and APIs to extend the functionality of Shopify stores.
Optimize website performance for speed and user experience.
Collaborate with the design team to convert PSD or Figma designs into responsive Shopify themes.
Implement custom functionalities using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid.
Manage and troubleshoot Shopify store settings, including navigation, products, and collections.
Use basic Photoshop skills to edit product images and banners when needed.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of websites.
Perform regular website maintenance, including bug fixes and upgrades.
Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Strong experience with Shopify, Shopify Liquid, and the Shopify ecosystem.
Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for image editing and optimization.
Experience integrating third-party apps and APIs with Shopify stores.
Understanding of SEO best practices as they relate to eCommerce websites.
Familiarity with responsive design and development for mobile and tablet devices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of Shopify Plus and its advanced features.

Basic knowledge of Shopify Flow, Script Editor, and custom checkout experiences.
