We are seeking a talented freelance fashion designer to collaborate with us on the end-to-end design process for our two fashion brands: Casual Wear Brand: Focused on contemporary casual apparel for both men and women. Indian Ethnic Wear Brand: Specializing in traditional and modern Indian ethnic styles. Responsibilities: Concept Development: Research and create mood boards based on current fashion trends, seasonal themes, and brand aesthetics. Design Creation: Develop sketches and digital designs (2D/3D) for clothing collections, including detailed garment specifications. Fabric Selection: Recommend suitable fabrics and materials aligning with design concepts and budgets. Prototyping: Oversee sampling, providing input on fit, finish, and final design adjustments. Trend Analysis: Incorporate the latest market trends, color palettes, and customer preferences into designs. Collaboration: Work closely with the production and marketing teams to ensure designs meet brand goals and timelines. Final Deliverables: Provide production-ready designs and tech packs for manufacturing. Requirements: Proven experience in designing casual wear and/or ethnic wear. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar. Strong understanding of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction. Ability to translate creative ideas into practical, manufacturable designs. Excellent communication and project management skills. The primary target audience for both brands will be adults aged 25-40. The design direction for both brands should reflect a modern and trendy style.
