Position: Product Listing VA Job Type: Virtual Assistant 10 hours to start with (Part-time/Full-time) Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Virtual Assistant (VA) to help with product sourcing and listing for SeraStrike, an e-commerce store. The VA will be responsible for sourcing products from AliExpress and ensuring high-quality product listings on our WordPress WooCommerce store. This is a crucial role for maintaining the quality and consistency of our listings, ensuring that they are attractive, informative, and optimized for conversions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Sourcing and Research: Source Products from AliExpress: Research trending, high-potential, and quality products from AliExpress that fit our niche and customer base. Price & Quality Considerations: Ensure that sourced products are reasonably priced, with competitive shipping options and quality suppliers. Record in Google Sheets: Add sourced product details (links, prices, variants, etc.) into a shared Google Sheets document for tracking and review. 2. Product Listing on WordPress (WooCommerce): Product Creation: Using the data from Google Sheets, add new products to the WordPress WooCommerce store. Title & Descriptions: Write compelling, concise, and SEO-optimized product titles and descriptions. Product Variations: Ensure that all product variations (sizes, colors, etc.) are accurately listed with the correct details. Images: Source high-quality product images from suppliers, ensuring that they are clear, well-sized, and optimized for web use. Upload images to WordPress accordingly. Attributes and Tags: Assign correct product attributes, categories, and tags to ensure ease of navigation for customers. Pricing: Set competitive pricing, taking into account cost, shipping, and profit margin. SEO Optimization: Implement basic SEO practices for product titles, descriptions, and meta details to improve visibility in search engines. 3. Quality Assurance: Proofreading: Ensure that all product information, descriptions, and attributes are accurate, free of spelling errors, and in line with the brand tone. Consistency: Make sure that product listings are consistent across the site, with the same structure, tone, and details for a cohesive shopping experience. Product Availability: Regularly monitor product stock and availability on AliExpress to ensure products listed on our site are available for purchase. 4. Collaboration & Reporting: Daily Updates: Provide daily or weekly reports on completed tasks, progress, and any issues encountered. Communication: Work closely with the project manager to ensure all product listings meet the company’s standards and guidelines. Feedback: Be receptive to feedback and implement any necessary changes or improvements in future listings. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Prior experience in e-commerce product sourcing (AliExpress or similar platforms) and WooCommerce product listing is essential. WordPress Proficiency: Must have experience using WordPress, particularly WooCommerce, and the ability to efficiently add and manage product listings. Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in product details, ensuring all listings are accurate and high quality. Time Management: Must be able to manage time effectively, completing tasks on schedule and meeting deadlines. Communication: Strong written communication skills in English. Basic SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO best practices to optimize product listings for search visibility. Self-Motivated: Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
