Backup Destination: Backups can be stored in: The company's existing file server. An external cloud service (e.g., AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage, etc.). Required Features: File versioning: Maintain a daily history of file changes. Quick access to backups for restoring specific files or entire directories. Automatic notifications in case of backup failures. Security: Secure data transmission using encrypted protocols (e.g., HTTPS, SFTP). Backup protection with encryption at rest and in transit. Automation and Reporting: Fully automated processes to minimize manual intervention. Weekly/monthly reports on backup outcomes (successes, failures, storage status).
