I'm seeking a creative and talented graphic designer who can help me develop an illustrative logo / brand mark. We're a talent development agency for the common person--so, rather than a famous athlete becoming a "pro"--we help the rest of society, and particularly those that face barriers ascend in their careers to become "pro-fessionals". Diamond in the Rough captures this concept--it may not be apparent on the surface, but with some molding and development--you could have a true GEM!

Our efforts are an investment in people--and our new brand will represent our investment in hidden talent. DITR Funds for example...with a mark out in front--one way we might leverage. Or, "Diamond In The Rough Fund" is replaced with a logo that incorporates the name so the two are used interchangeable (if this is your design--then please show both images and their interchangeability)

Key Elements:
- The logo should include a mascot or character (this is from the AI--could but not absolutely needed--open to all designs as I hope I communicated above)

- Abstract shapes should be incorporated into the design. (potentially--if that's your thing and how you see meeting the requirements)

- A scenery or background is also necessary. (up to you--not mandatory)

- Most importantly, the design should reflect the hidden value of buried treasure - an optical illusion. (yeah--this is the important part--something clever, urban, clean and representative of the brand--Premium Quality, Strategic, Bold, Innovative, Technical, Investor, Advisor

I chose all options to not limit your creativity. I'm open to innovative ideas that can surprise and delight. Your ability to think outside the box will be key to this project. Ideal candidates should have significant experience in logo design, particularly in creating detailed, illustrative pieces. A strong portfolio showcasing previous illustrative logo work will be highly advantageous.

3. We don't want AI generated content--we want true designers that have the ability to translate our concept into a graphical design.

Last point--you can either think you're showing how we identify talent that is often overlooked / not easy to identify, or you can show us polishing the talent and exhibit in it's finished state (a brilliant diamond) or the most ideal contributions will showcase how you we do both in a very simple, clean yet clever design.

Hello to all of the designers--first, thanks so much for your contributions to our contest. We appreciate your time and energy. I want to provide some feedback to help the designs align with our expectations:

1. Diamonds in The Rough represents a hidden gem--like a needle in a hay stack--we're mining / searching for these diamonds--here's the official definition: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/diamond%20in%20the%20rough

2. Diamonds in the rough are not brilliant--they have to be polished--so the objective is to somehow communicate that this organization looks for people who have potential and we polish them up, It's about people and identifying talent in places where people don't often look (e.g., inner city / low income communities). how do you communicate this via the mark requires innovative thinking and creativity. We want something that's clever...and it should somehow also illustrate / communicate we're about identifying/polishing people. Hope this helps!
