Beautiful and Functional!
This new design is so beautiful! I have received so many compliments! The chair has so many wonderful features that make beach trips easy and relaxing. The towel bar can hold a heavy towel and clothes, and the drink pocket is big enough to hold a drink that is inside a can insulator. Just turn the chair upside down to close it!

Best beach chair Ever.
I purchased adult and child chairs , and so glad I did. The quality is outstanding and very easy to operate. Equally as easy to strap on your back. And love the blue backing and green print chairs. On the beach, the TB chairs are the great majority for the reasons I stated.

Substandard design
The aluminum tubing crimps on the backside in the sand. Just sat in a brand new one I picked up at Home Goods. Before anyone asks I am not 300lbs far from it. In two weeks I have somehow broken two of them. One the tubing crimped the second the armrest broke from the backing. Seems quality is just not there.

Comfortable and practical
This chair is comfortable and practical, easy to open and close. It is exactly what I needed to be close enough to the water to watch the kids without being fully immersed. The different compartments are every helpful and easy to access. My favorite part of it is the cooler and hanging rack for the towel.

I could have loved this chair but there is a big hole exactly where my elbow goes on the right side. Super uncomfortable and there is no way to talk to someone in customer service

Not impressed, poor quality
Really disppointed as a plastic clip completely broke off (back right leg) on the very first use of this chair. Looking for replacement parts to try to repair. Not having much luck locating some. Cannot be glued back either!. For the price, very poor quality. I had higher expectations.

So upset with the quality
I love Tommy Bahama chairs and the last one I had lasted 3 summers with daily use (I have a beach house I literally mean daily.) I bought this chair for this summer and used it maybe 5 times and the arm completely ripped off the screws and broke. I am really shocked by the quality.

Excellent chair ! Comfortable. Love the wooden arm rests, one with built-in slot handle, and love the phone and koozie holster attached to the arm. Also easy to adjust.

Great chairs, 1 frustrating defect.
I bought 2 chairs last summer. One chair's left arm doesn't stay latched and slips when you sit in it which causes you to suddenly jerk backwards. I would give this product 5 stars if both chairs functioned as expected.

Perfect Berach Chair
Perfect beach chair. Recently had a chance to try them out during a trip to Madeira Beach, FL. Was able to carry my accessories (book, sunglasses, and suntan lotion) and a couple of beverages within the chair's compartments.

The BEST Jerry -- the BEST!!!!!
These chairs are the ultimate in beach gear! All kinds of little pockets and places to put/store things. I especially love the pillow for behind my head. The most comfortable chairs I have ever owned. Well worth the money spent!!! I'm going to buy 2 more today!

Quality is reclining
As of this past month I’ve owned 6 of the backpack chairs. The design is brilliant and I’ve purchased them for family members BUT the quality has declined noticeably with the recent version. The straps and clips are now made with cheaper materials as well as the Velcro pillow. Overall, the chair doesn’t have the quality and sturdy feel of the earlier ones.

Sitting pretty
A sturdy attractive beach chair. I live by the beach so my beach chair gets a lot of use. I’ve had other beach chairs but they never hold up as well as a Tommy Bahamas. I just replaced my chair after 10 years it still worked I just needed an update.
