The perfect all-around sunglasses, worth every penny.
I have a difficult time finding sunlgasses that I enjoy wearing, fit well, and look professional enough to wear at work. These sunglasses check all of the boxes. I live in a remote community in the Northern Yukon where it doesn’t get dark in the summer, sunglasses are essential. I’ve worn these while driving, fishing, hunting, quading, jetboating, snowmobiling, at the gun range, and to social events. They are the only pair of sunglasses I want to wear. The glass quality is unbelievable, they are so clear that it feels like my eyes are thanking me every time I put them on. They are lightweight, well built, and I never worry about them slipping off. They have just enough wrap around to keep the wind out of my eyes, but not so much that they look like “speed” glasses. Even the carrying case that they come in is high quality. Worth every penny.

Poor Lense Qualitt
Love the flexible hinge and the overall look, but the lense quality is beyond sub par for Maui Jim. I like many people, have had the lense scratch way too easily. I had the lenses replaced, and a few months later, I need them repaired again. I have at least 4 pair of MJ's and have never had this occur

clearer view with the Maui Jim sunglasses (sunny or cloudy) day
I bought this glasses for my husband to replace his old Oakley sun glasses. HE LOVES THE MAUI JIM sun glasses. He said he can see clearer in sunny and cloudy days while driving with them on!

I love them!
I have an extreme sensitivity to light and I've found that Maui Jims are the best for that. These are my third pair and the Southern Cross are even better than I expected. By far the best sunglasses I've ever had!

NOT REAL GREAT AFTER 3 MONTHS
I have worn Maui's since 1996 encompassing about 10 different styles. These Southern Crosses are not great. They were awesome at first but not after 3 months. As a boater you're constantly cleaning your glasses and the coating/glass on these scratch real easy unlike all my previous pairs of Maui's. I believe the overall quality of the glass is not as sharp or crisp as older styles either. Also the arms/temples have gotten real "sloppy" in a very short period of time. I have a 3 year old pair of Surf Riders that has held up way better than these. Just not satisfied with these glasses at all.

Great glass, bifocal meh.
As always, the glass is great. Great clarity and contrast.
I ordered the reader version as I was tired of taking off my sunglasses and putting on readers to see my cellphone and operate a DSLR. It is much more convenient in that regard.
However, they were a bit different than expected. From the description, I expected progressive lenses. It didn't say progressive, but when it said the bifocal lines were practically undetectable, it left the impression - and for the price, they should be. I would also prefer that the bifocal element run across the entire width and go higher on the lens. The glasses either need to be lifted slightly or firmly pressed against my nose bridge to prevent strain.

I’ve worn a lot of sunglasses over the years as a fishing guide.. I consider them part of my safety equipment on the water.. Maui Jim by far has the best quality product they take a beating and save my eyes from the same fate hands down superior to the rest of the brands out there

RX poor
Great frame and polarization. RX very poor. Cannot get comfortable looking through them. Optometrist says continue to wear. Been a week now. Very disappointed. Cost alot $$$$$$$!
