2 new pairs
bought a pair of these and a pair of red sands. I normally wear progressive lenses, and needed a new prescription, but decided to just keep these as is, and have two other pairs I already owned (one of which is a pair of peahis bought several years ago) into the progressives for when I need to read outside during the day. Great sunglasses all around

Extremely plain and painful
Arms are way too long and extended so far back on my head that the glasses are very painful to wear. I returned them after one single day.

Best shades I’ve ever owned!
These are the best shades I’ve ever owned! They hug my face perfectly and barely feel like I’m wearing them. The lenses are clear and perfectly polarized. I recommend these highly!

Love Them
These are my husband's first ever pair of nice sunglasses. He loves them and says the clarity of the Hawaii Blue lenses is superb. The only thing he would change is for them to come with a clamshell case over the trifold case. Overall, a fantastic purchase!

Looked Great - Wonky Earpieces
The fit and finish was really nice, but they felt very odd and loose on the face because the earpieces curve outward unusually far before sweeping back in. The result is that only the very end of the earpiece touches the head. I like everything else about them, but could tell immediately that they were not going to work and had to return them. I wish the website had pictures of the sunglasses from above, not just from the front and sides.

Moakoa with green lenses
Quality is excellent in manufacturing. Lens are crystal clear in low and bright light. Slightly heavier than most plastic frames but not cumbersome. They are very comfortable. I would say fit is M to L. Extremely pleased with my purchase of these. They do not come with a storage case.

Glasses fit great and block sun nearly 100% from every angle (top, side, etc.) High quality feel with hinges, and integrated nose and ear pads. Glass lens clarity is outstanding. I agree with other reviewers, the Maui Green lenses are the way to go regarding visual effect. Top notch customer service.

Great Style and got to love the Hawaii Blue lenses
I have had these glasses since December 2019, and couldn't be happier with them. The Blue Hawaii lenses are great in bright Australian sun. The lenses and frames are a nice size, light weight and feel great on. I have used them daily since I got them and would buy another pair in a heartbeat. Grateful to my wife for getting them as a Christmas present for me after our honeymoon in Hawaii.

Toblerone Case?

Awesome Green Mirrored Makoa’s
Another pair of awesome MJ’s. As always crystal clear lenses. Fit is great for my size frame 6’4” 260lb. I like the green mirrored lenses. All my other MJ’s have been grey. Enjoy the wrap around. Should help with wind when riding HD. Can’t go wrong with MJ’s warranty and repair.

Maui Green is the way to go
This is my third pair of Maui Jim's, first pair with Maui Green lenses, I am not sure how to explain this but this color lens has a very good effect on what colors you see. it seemed to make white whiter, and the yellows and reds pop. the lens detail picture below does not do justice to how good these lenses are to look through. These frames are also amazing, they fit really well and it was surprise to me they are spring loaded on the arms.

Love These!
These are great! I used to have a pair of Mcgregor Pointe and they don't make them anymore. Maui's are the best! The hingers are well made and the overall frame is sturdy. Made in Italy too. Love them!

The Makoa is NoKaOi
The Makoa with MAUIGreen lenses are incredible. Very comfortable frames with the perfect amount of wrap. But the lenses are the highlight . . . green mirror + gray lenses = an awesome rose tint. Plus the optics with the glass lenses can’t be beat. I’ve owned multiple pairs of Maui Jims, but the Makoa with MAUIGreen lenses are by far the best I’ve owned!

These sunglasses are great! The view is crisp and the items seem to ‘pop’. I would have given a 5 star rating, but for the fact that people can still see my eyes. I was hoping for them to be a bit more mirrored.

Good Old Fashioned Customer Service and Superior Products
Been a Maui Jim Customer for 20 years. Owned my 1st pair for 15 years. They discontinued the model and when I dropped them and shattered one of the lenses I sent them back for repair. I was bummed when customer service got back to me to let me know they couldn't fix them as they no longer offered the model. However, they sent me a gift certificate to put towards an new pair. I purchased the Island Time model and fell in love with them. Just got them back from a repair (another drop). This company has maintained it's relationship with it's customers through good old fashioned reliability in product and services. Love the glasses and the customer service is A+. Keep up the great work!

First Maui Jim and absolutely love them.
For people who don’t want to read my long review here is the point. The makoa are the most comfortable sunglasses I’ve owned. And although everyone’s experience with them will vary I highly recommend they at least try this model. Now for my experience, I never heard of Maui Jim until working at a sunglass retailer. I’ve owned Ray-ban, Oakley and Police (they’re a European brand I had when I lived there for a few years) all of them metal frames. Usually I get ones with adjustable nosepads because of my crooked nose and even though these lay mostly on one side of mine they’re still really comfortable. I love the eye coverage, wraparounds usually fog up on me very quickly but that is less of a problem with the makoa. Probably because they’re a wrap/classic square hybrid which is unique. Got them in the MauiGreen lens and the rose base tint, I love them despite having to squint a little bit when facing towards the sun on really bright days. Next time I will have to get the grey lenses for greater sunlight protection but I still love the MauiGreen makoa. The only adjustment I had to make to them was bending the temple ends to hook the ears more.

Great job MJ
Best pair of glasses I have ever had. They stay put on my face even in sports games. I can wear them straight from softball field to wedding and they fit for both occasions. Can’t see my eyes either, which is what I wanted. Such a high quality pair of glasses.

Makoa translucent/Blue mirror , excellent lenses that work well in sunny condition and overcast, at the beach or driving, but i think the perfect choice for sunny conditions at beach it's the grey color while the hcl bronze and green mirror ( wicj i think they have a rose base ) are perfect for driving . very good frame material and hinges. I don't give five stars because they are too heavys sorcially thinking they are a base 8 ( wich i LOVE) and tbis wrap it is thought for sports or sporty way of life like mine. Another think maui must improve its the size of the bridge , wich it would be nice in 19 like the byron bay and a 45.5 , 46 in the height of the lenses , with the perfect 59 caliber .So maybe a the solution would be an L/Xl Version of the makoas .the square desing is SUPERB, really what i was expecting from maui jim in a wrap 8 since i bought my kaenon burnet xl , wich i am going to buy as soon as i can unless maui builts a slighty bigger and lighter Makoa.If Maui Jim make that then , Maui Jim forever!
