Statement on accessibility
The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) makes every effort to make its website www.tierhaltungskennzeichnung.de e-accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
This website was created mid-2023. The new website will be submitted to a BITV (Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology) test soon and the test result will be published here.

Arbitration procedure
The Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Disabled Persons offers an arbitration service set up in accordance with Section 16 of the German Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (BGG). The purpose of this arbitration service is to settle disputes that arise between persons with disabilities and federal public authorities.
