Serves 1
Ingredients
6 teaspoons crushed cacao beans (I put a few cups of cacao beans in my blender and store the "powder" on a glass so it's ready to use.)
½ teaspoon bee pollen
1 teaspoon hemp seeds
½ teaspoon mesquite powder
1 teaspoon carob powder
1 teaspoon coconut (shredded, dried)
6 cashews or other "creamy" nut
Sprinkle of cinnamon or to taste
1 cup nut mylk
Sprinkle of salt
Recipe Directions
1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

By satnamWhen I first tasted a cacao bean, I couldn’t stand it. Too bitter for me!
So I came up with this recipe, and now I truly enjoy my cacao. :-)
(And girls, it works really well if you’ve got menstrual cramps!)
I am not 100% raw, so I make this drink with oat milk, not nut mylk, but I can’t imagine why nut mylk wouldn’t work just as good, probably even better.
There might still be tiny pieces from the cacao, depends on your blender. If it’s a good blender, you can probably put in the whole beans instead of blending them to a powder first.
Feel free to double or triple the amount--some are more sensitive to this stuff than others.
I used to add a little agave to the drink, but I forgot it one morning and found out I didn’t need it. It was sweet enough without. But if you want it sweeter, add agave, honey, or whatever you prefer.

I haven't had this in months - I'm very much of a period-person when it comes to food, it seems. I have the same thing for breakfast for weeks or even months, and then I change. But maybe I should have this again soon :-)

I've made this two or three times, adding more nutmilk and some cocoa to it. You're right, I think this did help! ;)
