While many races are held at Shelby Farms Park each year, a few signature races are produced by Shelby Farms Park Conservancy that directly benefit the trails, lakes and green spaces you love!

Are you ready to shine? BuffaGLO Run, presented by Brother, is back as the spectacular kickoff to the Starry Nights 2024 Season. The 2.25 mile family fun run weaves its way through the lights and displays of Starry Nights. You and your family will be the first to see the show!

BuffaGLO is your chance to be part of something truly magical as we light up the night. The brightest part? Race registration fees help keep Shelby Farms Park running! All proceeds benefit Shelby Farms Park Conservancy.

In addition to the race shirt, all participants get a pair of glow glasses.  Plus, add on a limited edition BuffaGLO neon beanie for $15 at check out.

Ready to Glow?

Dogs are welcome but must be on leash, leash in hand throughout the event.

BuffaGLO Run volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups! If you want to support the race without hitting the ground running, volunteers are needed to help with packet pickup, race setup, course monitoring and race clean up.
