Security Bank Collect

A payment gateway is a technology platform used by merchants to accept different payments methods from customers. Security Bank Collect is a payment gateway that enables you to generate and send Digital Payment Links to help facilitate collection of payments from your buyers via Cards (Visa and MasterCard) and e-Wallet Payments (GCash, Maya, Wechat Pay, UnionPay and AliPay). 

Security Bank Collect is powered by Magpie.IM, Inc, a PCIDSS Certified Level 1 service provider and an Operator of Payment Service (OPS) licensed by BSP. Security Bank Collect is compliant to the AWS server security protocols. 

Yes, Security Bank Corporation and Magpie.IM, Inc are regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).  

• You just have to wait for the activation of your account within 1 banking day. If you still don’t have access, please feel free to send an email to [email protected]
• After 1 day or if upon confirmation by Security Bank that the activation is done, you may go to Settings and toggle off the “Test Trial” to gain full access. If the toggle button cannot be clicked, your account has not been activated yet. Please wait for 1 banking day for the activation.

• You may check your Spam Folder for an Email coming from “Security Bank Collect”.
• You may click on the “Resend Email” first, but if this will not work, click “Open Gmail.” This will redirect you to the official Gmail Website where you may proceed with your log-in. 
• If the issue persists, please feel free to send an email to [email protected].

For WebCollect, we’ll need to discuss your website needs first with you, your web developer, and Magpie.IM, Inc. After 1-2 weeks, we’ll follow up to finalize details and timelines. Then, we’ll have regular check-ins to track the setup progress and perform tests to make sure everything works well. You can view WebCollect’s API Documentation to learn more.

You may click “Forget Password” and an email link will be sent to your registered email address to facilitate forgetting and changing password. 

For security reasons, this is currently disabled. You may send your request to [email protected]. However, please note that changing your email address and mobile number on the Security Bank Collect does not automatically update your records with the Bank. To update your Bank records, you still have to visit your Branch of Account. 

You may click on the 3 vertical dots at the right-most part of your transaction and click “Void”. After voiding or cancelling, you may just reissue the correct payment link. Please note that this is only allowed for collections not yet credited or remitted to your account.

You may not anymore use Security Bank Collect to refund the payment to your buyers. You may do a bank transfer via InstaPay using your DigiBanker to refund your Buyer’s payment. However, please note that the collections credited to your Security Bank settlement account is net of the transaction fee or merchant discount rate (MDR) and 0.5% withholding tax.

No. You may copy the same payment link that you earlier sent to your buyers.

Your net collections will be credited to your nominated Security Bank Settlement account.

The transaction fee or Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) are as follows: 

1. Visa and MasterCard: 3.3% + P10 fixed fee per transaction
2. Gcash: 2.6% per transaction
3. Maya: 2.2% per transaction
4. AliPay/ UnionPay/ WeChatPay: 2.4% per transaction 

Extract report from dashboard. There, you can view your full transaction history including period covered and net collections (less transaction fees).

Yes. In compliance to BIR RR No. 16-2023, the Payment Acquirer will withhold 0.5% tax on your collections. Collections that will be credited to your BusinessPlus Account is net of service fees and withholding tax.

Check if the transaction happened within the cut-off 3rd banking day after the receipt of payment from the buyer (with paid status on the dashboard). 

A. If within, check if credited on or before 5:30PM. 

1. If yes, no action needed.
2. If not, Email Security Bank at [email protected] regarding delayed crediting of collections. 

If after the cut-off, expect crediting of collections after 3 banking days.

Email [email protected] regarding delayed crediting of collections. Provide screenshot of the proof of payment so we can check and verify.

2. Security Bank Corporation will not be liable for any unauthorized transactions of the buyer. The buyer must perform legitimacy checks prior to making any transactions. All transactions undergo OTP verification and other security protocols (e.g. 3DS 2.0) to ensure that transactions are authorized by the customer. To educate customers about how to combat phishing, social engineering and other security threats, Security Bank Corporation offers a series of infographics and information awareness campaigns across its official communication channels.

Please coordinate directly with the Seller. Security Bank is not liable and connected with the sales agreement between the Seller and the Buyer. 

Security Bank Collect does not store any credit card information. Security Bank is not liable to any mishaps on safe-keeping of card information.
