Which GPS sources, either portable or installed, can I use with the Electronic Plotting Chart?
The Scott Plot Electronic Plotting Chart App can be used with Bluetooth GPS units that are compatible with an iPad and provide a standard NMEA 0183 output.
The following GPS connections are compatible with the plotting chart app and have the connection verified on the GPS source screen:
- Bad Elf GPS Flex Mini (BE-GPS-2500)
- Bad Elf GPS Pro+ (BE-2300-GPS) (Discontinued by Bad Elf but still supported)
- Bad Elf GPS Pro (BE-GPS-2200) (Discontinued by Bad Elf but still supported)
- Dual XGPS 160 (XGPS160)
- Appareo Stratus 3
- Satcom Direct Router (SDR)
- Satcom Direct Router Gateway (SDR Gateway)
- Satcom Direct WiFi Hub (SD WiFi Hub)
While not formally supported, many users have found that the following GPS device(s) work effectively with Scott Plot:

Why is my ICRH table of contents misaligned?
You will need the latest iOS application and ICRH update to see the most recent ICRH changes. If you do not see the ICRH table of contents aligned with the page numbers, perform the following steps:
- Update your application to the latest App Store version (3.3.4)
- Go to Settings in your application (gear icon at the top)
- Tap Update Now and wait for the update to complete
- Restart the application
- Return to the ICRH
