The Torta Chaser, Douglas Nunez & Rafael Bruno
Douglas and Rafael dreamed of having their own food truck. Due to the pandemic, they had been furloughed, and instead of seeing it as an obstacle, they viewed it as an opportunity to pursue their dreams.
Douglas feels as if their from-scratch menu is something that sets them apart from other food trucks. With a desire to follow in the footsteps of their grandparents, both Rafael and Douglas wanted to be able to leave a legacy behind with their food truck.
The business partners found SCORE through a Google search. They found invaluable information being given to them by their mentor. SCORE was able to get The Torta Chaser to a point where Douglas and Rafael felt confident to take the plunge and launch.
