Lois J. Gillmore, LCSW-BCD; MARS, CRAADC, has 23 years of experience in Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care. Her expertise includes supervising, monitoring, and directing the operations of a Behavioral Health Clinic and conducting clinical duties. She has participated in developing, organizing, and implementing a wide variety of treatment programs. She is an experienced acting clinical director, associate director, clinical director, and supervisor. Her experience includes various Missouri county Courts in both juvenile and drug-court. Lois supervised and managed biochemical testing programs for residential treatment and three drug-courts, and has prepared and monitored program budgets. She has developed and implemented community based treatment, education, intervention, and prevention programs that measured successful patient mental health outcomes. Lois is also skilled in management and evaluation, staff training, and outreach/partnering to ensure program success. She is experienced delivering direct care for children, families, adults, military personnel, and veterans. Her clinical career included service delivery in both Missouri and Kansas. Before joining SAMHSA, Lois served as a General Mental Health Clinical Social Worker with the VA.
