RSPCA media team

Our media team works with journalists with all the latest RSPCA news and information. We can help arrange interviews with our spokespeople, provide case studies and statements on animal-related matters. Members of the press can also read our latest press releases online.

Below is contact information for journalists and the media only. We are unable to answer enquiries from members of the public on these numbers. If you are not a journalist or from the media, please visit our contact us page where you will find an online contact form to submit your enquiry.

We're unable to take reports from members of the public on these numbers. For all reports of animal cruelty or welfare concerns, please contact our cruelty line on 0300 1234 999.

If you are a student journalist

We will do our best to help with student enquiries however please be aware that, as a charity, we can't guarantee to help you in time for your deadline. We have plenty of information on our website which may help you, including our latest news releases and facts and figures.

National media enquiries

During normal office hours (9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday), members of the press can contact us on either of the following telephone numbers:

Contacting our press office out of hours - journalists only

After 5pm on weekdays, and over the weekends and bank holidays, journalists and members of the media can contact the duty press officer for urgent press enquiries.

The duty press officer is available via 0300 123 0244 and press@rspca.org.uk.

There is a press officer on duty 24/7, although please note given our very limited resources, this is only for time sensitive and urgent media enquiries.
