You can select lifetime cover levels through our website to suit your needs. RSPCA Pet Insurance can also provide time limited cover via price comparison websites.
These are annual policies and if our pet insurer offers and you accept the renewal terms by agreeing to pay the premiums, you may claim the benefits covered by that policy for another year.
Lifetime £7k
RSPCA Pet Insurance’s highest level of cover for cats and dogs can provide lifetime cover for new injuries and illnesses.
This lifetime policy is available for cats and dogs and can cover your pet for up to £7,000 every 12 months. If you reach the limit in any policy year, you will need to pay for any treatment costs over this amount. If the policy is renewed at the end of each policy year, the limit becomes available again for the next 12 months. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.

RSPCA Pet Insurance’s £4k level of cover for cats and dogs can provide lifetime cover for new injuries and illnesses.
This lifetime policy is available for cats and dogs and can cover your pet for up to £4,000 every 12 months. If you reach the limit in any policy year, you will need to pay for any treatment costs over this amount. If the policy is renewed at the end of each policy year, the limit becomes available again for the next 12 months. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.

Please note: you must be able to afford to pay the yearly premiums, which increase at renewal based on your pet's age, claims history and other costs such as enhancements to and inflation costs of veterinary treatments.
Your premiums are likely to go up each year; there is no limit to premium increases and these could be significant to you each year and over the policy's lifetime. If a claim is paid out on your policy, your premium could double at renewal.
