If you want to use a debit or credit cards for your money transfer to Norway, your card must have the following details:
 
  • The name given on the debit or credit card must match the name given on your Remitly profile.
  • A valid expiration date. Generally, a card is valid up to the end of last day of the month in which it expires. If your card has an expiration date of 12/25, then it is valid up to December 31 2025.
  • The debit or credit must have a CVV or CVC (a three- or four-digit number on the back of the card).
     
    We accept Visa or Mastercard debit or credit cards in Denmark and all other sending countries.
     
    You can also use Maestro cards in the European Union and U.K. and prepaid debit cards in the U.S., European Union, U.K., Canada, and Australia.
     
    You may also be able to use an Interac card if you’re in Canada, as long as it’s co-branded with the Mastercard or Visa logo and has an expiration date and a CVV or CVC.
     
    Additional fees might apply if you use a debit or credit card. Some credit card companies and banks may charge additional processing fees because transfers are considered cash withdrawals.
