‘Veep’ Star Tony Hale Sells His Lovely Los Angeles Pad for $2.59M

Tony Hale, famous for starring in the hit HBO series “Veep,” has found a buyer for his adorable Los Angeles abode after listing it at the end of May.

He fetched $2,590,000 for the three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home, just under his asking price of $2,650,000.

The actor, who also starred in “Arrested Development,” paid $1,579,000 for the home in 2015, according to records.

Built in 1939, the Studio City home offers 2,437 square feet of living space and a large backyard. Recently renovated, the home was featured in Architectural Digest.

It sits on a quarter-acre lot on an elevated promontory. The lush outdoor space includes a patio, a fire pit, and a guesthouse.

The main house’s layout includes a spacious living room with a carved fireplace and floor-to-ceiling window.

The chef’s kitchen has a farmhouse sink, stone flooring, and tiled walls. The custom off-white cabinets and built-in shelving offer stylish storage.

The kitchen has space for casual dining, and there’s a dining room if you prefer a more formal setting for meals.

Both the living and dining rooms have French doors to the backyard.

Hale, 53, played Gary Walsh on “Veep,” a role for which he won two Emmys. Before “Veep,” he starred in “Arrested Development” and voiced Fear in the Pixar animated movie “Inside Out 2.”
