A buyer recently picked up actor Gary Sinise‘s colossal estate in Southern California’s gorgeous Santa Rosa Valley.

The award-winning actor put the eight-bedroom, 8.5-bath stunner on the market in April for $7,250,000, and it sold for $6,883,000. Sinise purchased the place in 2014 for $5,250,000.

A dramatic entrance

Sinise made this house a home, renovating it through the years to expand and enhance the layout.

Nestled on 28 lush acres in a gated development, the residence features a foyer with an incredible sweeping staircase and 24-foot ceilings.

A tall, arched doorway gives way to the great room, where a statement-making fireplace and a skylight add up to a dramatic visual.

Meanwhile, the chef’s kitchen boasts an oversized center island with seating and a windowed sink area, and the hidden appliances are the cherry on top. Meals can be enjoyed in the kitchen or in the formal dining room.

The main level has a two-bedroom guest suite with a mini kitchen, entertainment room, and outdoor patio access.

Dream design

The main bedroom suite was recently redesigned to add a covered balcony and deck access.

Additional property amenities include a media room, pool, a pool house with a kitchen, and a lighted tennis court.

As if that’s not enough, there’s also a detached one-bedroom guesthouse complete with a kitchen.

And as further proof that this spread truly has it all, a helipad rounds out the listing.

Sinise, 69, is also a director and producer. He has starred in a long list of films and television shows, including “CSI: NY,” “Forrest Gump,” “Apollo 13,” and “The Green Mile.” He’s won several awards, including a Primetime Emmy, a Golden Globe, and a Tony and was nominated for an Academy Award. He’s also the founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation, which supports veterans, first responders, and their families.
