    The History of Qt 

    We help companies to meet the increasing software market requirements driven by the exponential growth of the connected devices market and the stagnant growth of available software developers. 

    Developing mobile and desktop applications has been in the DNA of Qt since the beginning – the first public version of Qt Framework in 1995.

     

    1995:
    First public version of Qt released by Trolltech

    2006:
    Trolltech IPO to Oslo exchange

    2008:
    Trolltech acquired by Nokia

    2011:
    Digia acquired Qt commercial licensing business from Nokia

    2012:
    Digia acquired Qt software technology and business from Nokia

    2016:
    Qt Group Plc demerger from Digia, and listed independently in Nasdaq Helsinki

    2017:
    Qt Group Plc raised EUR 15 Million equity to fund growth investments

    2021:
    Acquisition of Froglogic's Quality Assurance portfolio

    2022:
    Acquisition of Axivion's Quality Assurance portfolio
