PARENT TRAINING
The Federal Programs Department of the Picayune School District will be hosting a district-wide training for parents to provide academic resources and strategies to families. The meeting will also include information specifically for parents of English language learners.
It will take place in-person at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 24th in the library at Southside Lower OR by Zoom with the link below.

The PSD would like to remind all parents to register their children online. Returning students may upload their current proofs of residency online without coming to the school. If you are unable to upload your documents, you must report to your child’s school to provide documents in order to complete the registration process.
Students new to the district will need to register online and report to the school to provide required documents.
Online Meal Prepayment System LINQ CONNECT Available Now!
Picayune School District Food Services Department is utilizing a new online payment system, LINQ Connect to allow you to make deposits into your student school meal accounts. LINQ CONNECT serves two facets--the ability to make online payments for school meals and the ability to view student transaction histories. You must create a new account in LINQ CONNECT and add your student to the account. For more info, go to the Departments Tab-Food services.
McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (2024-2025)
The McKinney-Vento Act provides specific rights for homeless students.
These rights include waiving certain requirements, such as proof of residency,
when students are enrolling and allowing categorical eligibility for certain
services, such as free lunch.

The Comprehensive Needs Assessment is used to determine how to allocate our Federal Grant money. The district needs your input to make sure we are reaching as many goals as possible.
Picayune School District has partnered with MHS Mobile Dental to provide a yearly dental service to all K-12 students .
Now, your child can receive health care at school free of charge.
