CCD Budget

The Pasadena Crime Control and Prevention District (CCD) was created in November of 1998, and voters also adopted the proposed sales and use tax rate of one-half of one percent (1/2 cents). Revenue from the ½ cent sales tax serves a role in providing the necessary resources to effectively implement crime reduction strategies pertaining to enhanced enforcement, neighborhood crime prevention, partner programs, recruitment and training, and department equipment, technology, and infrastructure. The CCD Budget can also be found in the City’s Annual Operating Budget as a Component Unit.
