Annual Operating Budget

A budget is a financial plan for a city for a twelve-month period, called a fiscal year, which begins October 1st. The Annual Budget includes both revenues and expenditures which provide operating services for the coming year. The budget is prepared and submitted by the Mayor to the City Council for adoption after the completion of public hearings as prescribed by the laws of the State of Texas.
