Current Water, Wastewater (Sewer) & Garbage Rates

The City’s Code of Ordinances require automatic annual adjustments in October based on the US Consumer Price Index (CPI). These adjustments allow the city to sustain the reliability and the safe operation, of city-provided utilities. The ordinances that mandate these adjustments were approved by City Council in 2016 and are necessary to pay increases in the cost of operating, maintaining, and repairing city-provided utilities.

Residential – Under 65

  • Minimum Charge – $13.48 (0 to 2,000 gallons) 
  • 2nd Tier: 2,001 to 8,000 gallons - $3.76 per 1,000 gallons
  • 3rd Tier: 8,001 to 10,000 gallons - $4.39 per 1,000 gallons
  • 4th Tier: 10,001 to 12,000 gallons - $5.01 per 1,000 gallons
  • 5th Tier: 12,001 to 30,000 gallons - $6.27 per 1,000 gallons
  • 6th Tier: Over 30,000 gallons - $6.90 per 1,000 gallons

Residential – 65 & Over

  • Minimum Charge – $8.27 (0 to 2,000 gallons)
  • 2nd Tier: 2,001 to 7,000 gallons - $3.14 per 1,000 gallons
  • 3rd Tier: 7,001 to 12,000 gallons - $4.39 per 1,000 gallons
  • 4th Tier: 12,001 to 30,000 gallons - $6.27 per 1,000 gallons
  • 5th Tier: Over 30,000 gallons - $6.90 per 1,000 gallons
