If you’re looking for a new best friend, look no further! Our shelter has big dogs, small dogs, fluffy dogs, and sleek dogs. We have loyal dogs, kind dogs, brave dogs, and gentle dogs. 

They’re all wagging and waiting for that one special person who’ll notice something special in their hopeful eyes.

Getting Started with Adoption

Ready for sloppy kisses and games of fetch?

• Check out our Facebook page for info on some of our favorite pets.
• Search on 24PetConnect or Petfinder using zip code 77504.
• Complete an application.
• Make a list of pet names while you wait to hear back from us. It can take us up to three business days to process an application. And please, check your voicemail and junk email folders for a response!
• Visit us! We have two buildings: the Animal Shelter (at 5150 Burke Road) and the Adoption Center (5160 Burke Road).
