Responsibilities
This committee shall be responsible for:
- Assisting with promoting community awareness about the potential for, and the nature and handling of hazardous materials emergencies
- Assisting with advising the public on appropriate actions to take in advance of, during, and after emergencies
- Assisting with informing the public of Southeast Regional Local Emergency Planning Committee (SERLEPC) meetings, and arrange publicly for the SERLEPC
