Biography
Ruben Villarreal is a proud native of District A, where he has lived for over 35 years. He received his education from Richey Elementary School, Jackson Intermediate School, and Pasadena High School and went on to earn two master's degrees from Houston Baptist University.
As the pastor of La Iglesia Del Pueblo, a local church founded by his parents in 1981, Ruben is deeply committed to serving the North side of Pasadena. He has worked closely with the city and county to bring vital resources, including food drives and COVID testing and vaccinations, to the area.
Ruben is married to Nallely and they have three daughters, Rebeca, Raquel, and Ruth. With his deep roots in the community and a passion for helping others, Ruben is dedicated to serving District A and its residents.
