Mission Statement
To treat all wastewater generated in the City of Pasadena jurisdiction, within the permit requirements established by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
General Overview
The Wastewater Plants Division strives to maintain and operate wastewater plants in the most economical manner while meeting the demands of the permits issued by TCEQ. The City has two wastewater treatment plants: Vince Bayou Wastewater Treatment Plant with permitted average daily capacity of 14 million gallons per day (MGD) and peak capacity of 40 MGD; Golden Acres Wastewater Treatment Plant with permitted average daily capacity of 4.0 MGD and peak capacity of 10.0 MGD.
