Municipal Court Seal

The Pasadena Municipal Court has established policies and procedures for resolving traffic tickets and other fine-only misdemeanors in accordance with state law, but with a minimum of inconvenience. Before you attempt to resolve the case(s) against you, you should read carefully the content of the citation and handout that were given to you by the officer. You may want to seek the advice of a lawyer.

Fines, Deferred Disposition, Driving Safety Course

Two laws enacted by the 2019 Texas Legislature have together resulted in a total increase of $34.00 in state mandated fines, fees and costs for many of the most common violations in the Municipal Court, such as speeding, red lights, stop signs, etc. Because, however, the increases have taken effect at different times, and because some increases do not apply to all cases, it is important that you know the fine and cost information that relates to your case in applying for a deferred disposition, driving safety course, or simply to pay your fine. To do so, please click on the link found below that corresponds to the date that your citation was issued. Thank you.

  1. For cases before Sep. 1, 2019
  2. For cases between Sep. 1, 2019 - dec. 31, 2019
  3. For cases on & after Jan. 1, 2020
