Patrol - Home

The Patrol Bureau is under the command of Assistant Chief Thomas Warnke and is comprised of Day, Evening, and Night patrol shifts, Special Operations, and a variety of other operative support units.

Day Shift Patrol

Day Shift Patrol is under the direct command of Lieutenant Gene Spiller, who is in charge of the operation of the shift and that of other operative support units. There are 6 supervisors who are collectively responsible for the supervision of the 35 patrol officers assigned to the shift. These officers, as those on the other two patrol shifts, are responsible for a variety of uniform enforcement duties, largely concerning a response to calls for service.

Evening Shift Patrol

Evening Shift Patrol is under the direct command of Lieutenant Vicente Gonzalez, who is responsible for the operation of the shift and that of other operative support units. There are 6 supervisors who are collectively responsible for the supervision of 42 patrol officers assigned to the shift.

Night Shift Patrol

Night Shift Patrol is under the direct command of Lieutenant Raymond Sorrell, who is responsible for the operation of the shift, the canine unit, and the DWI Task Force. There are 5 supervisors who are collectively responsible for the supervision of 36 patrol officers assigned to the shift.
