One of the side-by-side beachfront mansions that belonged to the late billionaire Chris Cline has sold for a recorded $25.7 million, the price recorded Wednesday with the deed for the property in northern Palm Beach County.

Cline, a West Virginia mining magnate, died July 4, 2019, when a helicopter he was riding in crashed shortly after takeoff from his private island, Big Grand Cay, in the Bahamas. The six others on board also died, including Cline’s 22-year-old daughter Kameron.

The property that just sold in Seminole Landing consists of two lots that measure a combined 2.8 acres. The eastern parcel, at 12510 Seminole Beach Road, has an eight-bedroom Mediterranean-style mansion with 17,704 total square feet, property records show. The house faces 200 feet of beachfront.

Across the street is a landscaped vacant parcel at 12432 Banyan Road with a driveway that leads to the house.

An extensive patio area with a pool faces about 200 feet of beachfront at the Mediterranean-style house at 12510 Seminole Beach Road. The house and an adjacent parcel to the west was just sold for a recorded $25.6 million by the estate of the late billionaire Chris Cline.

A Delaware-registered limited liability company named Seminole Beach Road LLC bought the property, the deed shows. Because of Delaware’s strict corporate privacy laws, no other information about the buyer’s side of the sale was immediately available in public records.

The late billionaire Chris Cline made his fortune in coal mining.

Two of Cline's longtime colleagues, Lesslie Ray and Timothy Elliott, served as co-personal representatives of Cline’s estate in the sale, the deed shows.

Seminole Landing is off U.S. 1 between PGA Boulevard and Donald Ross Road near Palm Beach Gardens.

Cline bought the oceanfront parcel in 2003 for $10.5 million, property records show. The house was completed in 2006, the same year he bought the western parcel for a recorded $3.2 million

Broker Lawrence Moens of Lawrence A. Moens had the two parcels priced together at $29.5 million, according to the multiple listing service. Moens couldn’t be reached for comment.

Agent Meike MacGregor of Compass Florida handled the  buyer’s side of the deal.

This beachfront mansion at 12510 Seminole Beach Road in Palm Beach County was owned by the late billionaire Chris Cline. It just sold for a recorded $25.7 million.

The house and its western parcel are immediately south of another oceanfront estate that Cline owned, bringing his total land holdings in Seminole Landing to nearly 4 acres. Moens has the northern estate priced at $24.95 million.

The oceanfront house on the northern estate, at 12540 Seminole Beach Road, has 16,139 total square feet, five bedrooms and nearly 200 feet of shoreline. Its western parcel, at 12535 Seminole Beach Road, has a pavilion-and-guesthouse facing tennis, volleyball and basketball courts.

Sources familiar with the property have told the Daily News the northern estate could sell within the next few days.

Cline died one day short of his 61st birthday. He had sold a stake in his Foresight Energy public for $1.4 billion, according to Forbes, and was worth nearly $2 billion at his death.

Also killed in the helicopter crash were three of Kameron Cline’s college friends and two pilots.
