What is casting a bullet?
Bullet casting is making lead bullets (actually usually lead alloy) by heating the material to the melting point, then pouring it into a bullet mold (aka bullet mould) in order to form the projectile.
What equipment do I need to cast my own bullets?
You will need a melting/casting furnace for the lead alloy, and a lead ladle/dipper to transfer from the casting furnace. Next would be the appropriate bullet molds and mold handles. A bullet sizer is a good idea, although some folks who cast bullets feel that they can go without them (still a good idea to at least have one in your kit). You'll also need bullet lube.
