I have been using Net Atmo products since their inception. The products have been the very best connected products I have ever used. My very first Net Atmo system is still functioning perfectly. Their support has been totally fantastic. I have only used support a few times over the past 15 years but is has been first class all the way. I hope the company keeps up running the same way. This is a product and company you can really lean on and count on.
This so rare today. Most companies give you tons of features that are unreliable and unpredictable. But my Net Atmo products have always been predictably reliable!! So refreshing to know that some companies actually get it.

EDIT - after a very rocky start, the system is working as expected and am satisfied with what it is doing. As I use it and monitor the data over the next while, I will really see how it is working.

I will edit this later if things start working. Outdoor module says it has connected to the base station, and the app says it 'may take a while to take it's first measurement'. It's been 4 days and no measurement. So far, Netatmo Support has been next to non-existent (they said 'rest assured we will help you solve this problem' and asked for the serial number, and then no further communication.

The readings from either the indoor or outdoor module were so far off from reality I wondered how such product ever made it to market. My main interest in this station was to be able to remotely read humidity in the rooms in which I store my expensive guitars. Anything else would have been a bonus.

After initial setup, I noted that the humidity of the indoor modules was at 56% while the outdoor module read 51%. I used 3 very accurate **humidity gauges to compare. Each of these read the humidity to be at 44%. I requested that NetATMo support re-calibrate these modules and, after 72 hours, they did just that. Reading now were 47% for indoor, 45% for outdoor, 42% for the 3 other gauges. I moved all gauges to a known dry area (33-35%) and noted the following:
Indoor: 42% (it seemed stuck at that reading)
Outdoor: 39%
3 other: 34-35%

I requested another re-calibration and withing 24 hours this was completed. Things started to look up. All reading were very close to each other (35-37%). Such slight variation was not an issue for me.

I then placed all gauges in a room with a know RH of 40%. All gauges except the indoor module read 40-41%. The indoor module didnt go any highers than 37% even after 2 hours in the same room.

Next, I placed all units in a room with an average RH of 49-53% (has a humidifier hence the 4% fluctuation). Results:
3 gauges - 49-53% .dead on each time
Outdoor - Never got higher than 47%. Dropped down to 46% as RH dropped as indicated by the 3 gauges.
Indoor - Never got higher than 41% in the entire time in this environment

This product can not be relied on and I have returned it for a refund.

Does exactly what it say it does.
I linked it to a portable power for cellphone and now i can move it where I want. I used it in my factory to check C02, temperature and sound level, excellent job.

my only problem is the connection with the outdoor module. i understand the idea of direct link with the first module. but I would prefer to have it wifi as the primary module, as sometime, if I move the indoor module, I loose the connection (and I'm not interested to move the outdoor module)

For next generation, may I ask you to check "Alima" and add the CO and the particule counter and the VOC, I have no problem to pay more for those extra option.

The Netatmo unit works very well, and seems to be accurate. The app is well designed for the iPhone and iPad; the user interface adapts to a landscape or portrait view on the iPhone, where the landscape view shows dynamic graphs over time of the various measurements. The iPad app interface provides a more comprehensive view, similar to the Web interface. Setup with your home WiFi network is easily done, with step-by-step guidance when you install the app. You can tell that the Netatmo folks are serious about making this product a success. For example, they have apps for Windows Phone and Android phones, as well as the iDevices -- plus a browser-based interface.

After setup, it took 10 or 15 minutes to start to get readings from the outside sensor. I tried to trigger an alarm, as suggested, by exhaling onto the indoor sensor -- to raise the humidity and CO2 levels. The alarm did go to my iPhone, but later the CO2 level dropped to 0. I suspected that the sensor tried the auto-calibration of CO2 level while I had it raised to a warning level, and that messed it up. So I opened the doors and windows to get fresh air in and did a manual calibration (simple, as described in the device info), and that fixed the problem. The reading is now 400 ppm, as it "should" be.

I've messed around with various weather instruments for over 45 years, including teaching meteorology many years ago. It is a delight to have such a capable instrument to record weather data, with such easy access to the data, at such a relatively modest price. Devices to get more accurate and more complete weather data recordings would be 5 to 10 times the cost (and more!). The "crowd-sourced" weather data plotted on a map is a fun addition. I'll be adding the rain gauge soon.

Another bonus for techies is the software development kit (SDK). Want to use the public or private Netatmo data in a different way? -- you can write your own app for that, maybe even sell it. For a simpler approach, you can also download text data files for your device and massage them in an Excel or Numbers spreadsheet. More to the point for most people, the fact that the Netatmo has an SDK means that you have a growing collection of apps for this weather station.

The installation instructions are diagrams only, sometimes a little cryptic, but that's a very minor quibble. You can install the outside sensor either on a wall with the included hardware, or on a post with the included Velcro strap, but in either case, the unit must be shielded from direct sun and rain. Looking through their product information on the Web helped. Overall, this is truly a 5-star product.

No sirve. Solo funciona el módulo interior. El exterior marca que está muy retirado a pesar de estar colocado en una terraza a 3 m. del principal. Imposible emparejar el pluviómetro. El anamómetro siempre marca la misma dirección.
