I report on U.S. politics with a focus on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. I am on the road with candidates during the 2024 election cycle. I am particularly interested in how candidates appeal to specific voter groups and how their proposed policies affect or target those demographics.
Before reporting for The Times, I covered Congress for The Wall Street Journal during the tail end of Representative Kevin McCarthy’s speakership. I have also reported on state politics for The Boston Globe and worked at Rappler, a Filipino news site.
I graduated from Harvard with a degree in history in 2024. In college, I wrote and edited for The Harvard Crimson, the student newspaper, where I focused on investigative reporting and audience engagement. I grew up in northern New Jersey.
Like all Times journalists, I adhere to our Ethical Standards Handbook. I do not take public stances on political issues. I refrain from making political donations or participating in demonstrations. When I travel to report on candidates and campaigns, The Times pays for my travel. I aim to be fair and open-minded by highlighting a variety of perspectives in my coverage to accurately represent the communities I cover.
It is essential to protect my sources when reporting sensitive stories. If you would like to get in touch securely, please use The Times’s tip line.
