As a general assignment reporter, I cover a number of topics ranging from breaking news to online trends.

I joined The Times in 2021. Since then, I’ve covered a number of topics such as sports, weather and crime. Previously, I was a reporter on the breaking news desk at The Dallas Morning News. I am a Spanish speaker who was born in Mexico and grew up in Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas.

As a Times journalist, I share the values and adhere to the standards of integrity outlined in The Times’s Ethical Journalism Handbook. I strive to be accurate, fair and thoughtful in my work.
